Our Commission helps organize several community veteran events annually. Feel free to join any of the below opportunities to see other veterans.
Vietnam Veterans
Remembrance
Held every year in March at the Decatur Civic Center. There are speakers, dinner, and ceremonies honoring those who served during the Vietnam Conflict.
Memorial Day
Every Memorial Day, we hold a wreath ceremony honoring our fallen brothers and sisters of war. Most recently, Graceland Fairlawn graciously welcomed the event.
